Lieutenant General H S Kahlon, who retired from serving our country after 4 decades of service. Lt. Gen. H S Kahlon is an astute and result-oriented professional with almost four decades of rich experience in various domains including Capital Procurement, Project/Works Management, Budgeting and Financial Planning, Human Resource Management, Security operations, Maintenance Operations, General Administration and Facilities Management.

He has a notable career, having served in various high-profile roles within the Indian Army and United Nations missions. In his last assignment the General officer was the Area Commander, Headquarters based at Colaba, Mumbai, handling Administration of all Military Stations in the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. He was awarded the Presidential awards of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal(AVSM) and Sena Medal(SM) for his meritorious services and contributions to the organisation.

While in service, he had administrative command of the Indian Army in peninsular India, with over 30 establishments and 75,000 personnel under his control. He oversaw the working of 9 military hospitals, and premier education institutions and schools of the Army.

His academic credentials include M.Phil in Defence and Strategic Studies from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore; M.Sc in Defence Studies from Madras University; B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Bombay University. He is also an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, and the prestigious national Defence College, New Delhi. Lieutenant General H S Kahlon will oversee the academic and administrative affairs of all the Schools under K.J. Somaiya Trust, Somaiya Vidyavihar Trust. Also He will be involved in Administration for Somaiya (Medical) Trust, K.J. Somaiya (Delhi) Trust, K.J. Somaiya (Gujarat) Trust, Girivanvasi Pragati Mandal, Girivanvasi Education Trust, Maganlal Mehta,K.J. Somaiya hospital and Superspeciality hospital and others. Dr Manisha Bobade is a highly accomplished healthcare professional with over three decades of exceptional experience, both nationally and internationally, as a clinician, academic and seasoned hand in healthcare management and operations. Her expertise extends from building strong clinical teams, ensuring outstanding patient experience, community engagement, strategic planning and execution of healthcare projects, and astute financial management. No stranger to the responsibilities of top management, she has held several senior positions in large healthcare organisations and consistently demonstrated excellence as a domain leader. Throughout her outstanding career, Dr Bobade has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives in both clinical and healthcare administration. She has served as head of department and consultant in emergency medicine and critical care medicine, and held key leadership positions as CEO and medical director at Apollo Hospitals, director at Fortis Hospitals, and director and head at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Navi Mumbai. Her most recent role was as director and head at DY Patil Hospital, Navi Mumbai.

Dr Manisha Bobade currently holds the position of CEO at KJ Somaiya Hospital and Research Center. As a determined and exuberant leader, she is deeply engaged in planning and implementing initiatives for business transformation and setting future strategy to advance the vision articulated by our Chairman. Her wealth of experience and multi- faceted competencies will significantly contribute to the hospital's continued success and sustained growth. A strong believer in the potential of people, she interacts with clinical and support teams to ensure their professional and personal growth. Together they work towards excellence in patient care, medical education and research, and further the journey of KJ Somaiya Hospital and Research Centre towards becoming a world class institution.

Dr. Rajeshree has experience in Medical Profession with over 36 years. Her expertise includes notable clinical knowledge, proven organizational and management skills, the ability to make effective decisions and an innate ability to manage different situations. She has worked with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) for 33 years, holding the position of Medical Superintendent successfully; she was responsible for Medical Administration and Academic Governance. She has received special recognition from the Mayor of Mumbai in the year 2022 for contributing to the Tuberculosis Programme. She has also been awarded by Mayor of Mumbai for Swachata Abhiyan at V. N. Desai Hospital in 2019. The role of Dr. Rajashree is to oversee the Medical Services of the entire K. J. Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre. Her responsibilities include governing clinical policies and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supervising Medical and Paramedical Staff, managing patient care quality and collaborating with other departments to optimize quality healthcare delivery across all the areas of hospital i.e. OPD, IPD, ICU, OT, ER and Cathlab. She is Reporting to the CEO of K. J. Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre.

Dr Minu Ramakrishnan joined K J Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre in 2002 as a Senior Resident in the Department of Ophthalmology. She went on to become Professor and Head of Department of Ophthalmology, a post she held for 10 years before being promoted as Medical Superintendent of Somaiya Hospital in April 2022. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies from Seth GS Medical College and KEM hospital. She has also completed her MBA in Healthcare Services from Sikkim Manipal University (distance education ) in 2013. She is an active member of the Medical Education Unit and also the Research Cell. Her academic interests include refractive cataract surgery, cornea, ocular surface disorders and medical retina. for which she has undergone training at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and Aravind Eye Institute, Coimbatore.

Ms. Taruni brings in more than fourteen years of extensive experience in Healthcare Management & Operations in top Hospitals Chains across India. She is a Management Graduate with a specialization in Hospital & Healthcare Management from ASCI Hyderabad. Her expertise lies in handling vendor management, planning and execution of healthcare projects, Supply Chain & Pharmacy Management. While working with various eminent organisations, she has diligently managed & coached diversified teams and collaborated with other functions. While achieving her target she essentially ensured that she along with her team lived up to the organizational values and vision and delivered results in growth, operational performance with the goal of providing high quality and efficient “service to the patient”. Her previous assignment was with Tata Cancer Care Foundation (An Initiative of Tata Trusts), where as an astute Operations leader, she handled multiple Healthcare Projects across the country including Infra, Medical Equipment, and Services. Prior to that she has worked with various Healthcare groups like Fortis Healthcare Mumbai, Max Healthcare across various locations & Medanta Gurgaon. As COO of K J Somaiya Hospital and Research Centre, Ms. Taral Taruni will be handling entire Non-Medical Operations of the Hospital & report into the CEO of K J Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre.
