Blood donation camp

5th July 2020

Blood donation camp was held on 05/07/2020 at Chembur Gymkhana, Chembur, from 9.30 am to 5 pm. It was organized by K J Somaiya Hospital along with Rotary Club of Deonar and Rotaract Club of Deonar. We observed all precautions which are necessary in view of current pandemic such as social distancing, hand hygiene ect. All the donors were screened for likelyhood of Covid by taking careful history. All donors were wearing face masks and all our staff took full contact precautions.

Inspite of heavy rains and water logging, the camp was well attended. We collected 36 units of whole blood.
