Overview

Department of medical oncology is equipped for the planning and administration of systemic anticancer treatment for both solid tumours like breast cancer , lung cancer , gastrointestinal tract malignancies( colon cancer/stomach cancer ), genitourinary cancer and head neck cancer/oral cancer as well as hematological malignancies like lymphoma and multiple myeloma.

It works closely with Surgical oncology department to provide comprehensive care to cancer patients. Newer treatments like targeted therapies as well as immunotherapy are also being administered to the patients.
