The department comprises of highly qualified & experienced specialists and is adequately staffed and fully equipped to manage all obstetrics and gynaecological surgeries including cancer and endoscopic surgeries.

The department provides routine and emergency gynaec and obstetrics services 24/7 in the general as well as super specialty unit.. The various services and treatments offered by the department include prenatal screening, counseling, antenatal care, high risk pregnancy care, painless delivery, menstrual problem, infertility, uterine fibroid, cancer screening and treatment, urinary problem, adolescent and menopause problem, family planning and counseling, abortion, male & female sterilization.

Procedures & Services

Patients are treated on OPD basis, on IPD basis, in the casualty department and intensive care unit depending on what’s best suited for the patient. In addition to routine OPD service several specialty OPDs are like Infertility OPD, Adolescent OPD, Menopause OPD, Cancer OPD, High risk obstetrics OPD are conducted in the hospital to provide focused care to patient suffering from these diseases.

The hospital has a designated PPTCT centre (Prevention of Parent To Child Transmission of HIV) providing pre-test counseling for prevention and awareness regarding HIV, post-test counseling along with treatments to HIV positive pregnant mothers and babies for prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV.

The department also has an IUI lab (Intra Uterine Insemination) that provides treatments to infertility patients.
